We are seeking a childcare worker to join our team. We are a community run afterschool childcare service operating in Johnswell National School. Open from 2-6pm, Monday – Friday during school term times – 39 weeks per year.

Location: Based in Johnswell National School, R95 YY10

Start Date: January 5th 2026

Hours: 3-6 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: € 15.50/hour (+ holiday pay)

Qualification: QQI L5 desirable, not necessary. First aid training desirable.

Experience: Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred

Skills: We are looking for a reliable and committed worker, who is highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic. You will need to have good communication skills, good organisation and planning skills and a creative and flexible approach to work.
